The Well of Truth Once upon a time , in a peaceful village named Sonapur, nestled between green hills and winding rivers, there lived a wise old woman named Amma. She was known for her kindness, her gentle smile, and most of all, the magical Well of Truth that sat beside her little hut. The villagers believed that if someone told a lie near the well, its waters would turn muddy. But if one spoke the truth, the water would remain clear and still. One day, a greedy merchant named Bhola came to Sonapur. He saw the harmony and happiness in the village and thought to himself, “If I can trick these simple villagers, I can become rich!” Bhola laughed. “Fine! Bring your little well. Let’s see this magic.” At the well, the villagers gathered. Amma gently asked, “Do you swear these seeds grow golden trees by morning?” Bhola hesitated.
